GoDaddy introducing daily backups in cPanel hosting platforms

Finally, good news for all godaddy hosting users. GoDaddy already has daily backups in their managed wordpress hosting plans and from April 18, 2022, all cpanel hosting users and business hosting users would have an option to restore their website. Continue reading for more details!

When is this happening? 

As per news coming out from the company, GoDaddy is going to launch a Daily backup feature on April 18th, 2022. 

What is the impact on customers?

All customers on web hosting ( cpanel ) would have an option to restore from 1 day rolling backup included in their plan. So, if you are a user who is paying additional for daily backups, you can save a few bucks.

What would be included in daily backups?

Backup would include their folders, database and files. It is very frustrating when a plugin to  theme breaks down our website and we don’t have an option to restore the website. 

1 day rolling backup is free. Additionally, if someone wants to opt for  7, 14 or 30 days, there would be additional charges for this which are not revealed yet.
